circa 1898, with 23 1/2in. barrel, blade fore-sight, elevating tangent rear-sight, fluted rounded receiver with brushed bright toggle-handled bolt, ring safe to rear and pale beech full-stock with iron furniture and frontal stacking spike, complete with it's issued muzzle-cover and leather sling (dated 1883)
